The Washington Post asked me to photograph a room designed by Interior Designer Michael Roberson that demonstrated how people starting out can form cozy, intimate areas from small apartment areas. Typically people buy furniture and stick it up against all four walls leaving a large, empty area in the middle of the room. Michael's idea is to move the furniture away from the walls creating a more intimate living environment. I think it looks great. Click on the title above to read the entire article.
