The Washington Post asked me to photograph Cheryl Corson's back yard and show how one can use fruit trees to landscape one's yard, making it both beautiful and functional. Cheryl is a landscape architect and she tries to incorporate this philosophy for her clients when it makes sense. Cheryl and her husband Chris sold their home on Capitol Hill five years ago for the peaceful surroundings of life in Upper Marlboro county.
