I recently had the pleasure of meeting Philippa Hughes while taking her portrait for The Washington Post. A former lawyer, Philippa has left the law offices behind and pursues her true passion, Art. She conducts / coordinates art shows throughout the DC area. The story is about how Washington, DC residents are getting ready for out of town guests for the holidays and the inauguration. Philippa had her guest room walls torn down in favor of a larger living area. Her couch folds down into a bed for those times that guests do arrive.
